The Cumbrian Coast Dalesman passes over Arnside Viaduct
A stroke of pure good luck led to me being on the beach with my camera on Saturday afternoon when the Cumbrian Coast Dalesman passed over the viaduct on its way back to Carnforth. I was able to see the train approaching from quite a distance, so I could line the camera up and prefocus on the centre span of the bridge. Shot in RAW format, and processed in Photomatix from a single file.
